Aryna Sabalenka

Sabalenka was born in Minsk (the capital city of Belarus) she was the son of Sergey. Sergey was a player in the hockey league. Aryna Sabalenka, born on May 5th, 1998, in Minsk Belarus. Her 12 WTA singles titles include one Grand Slam, the 2023 Australian Open. When it comes to doubles, she's also an outstanding player. She has won two Majors in the past with Elise Mertens: The US Open in 2019 and the Australian Open in 2021. She also achieved the Sunshine Double in 2019, by winning in the WTA 1000 at Indian Wells, Miami and the Australian Open with Elise Mertens. Four women's teams were able to achieve this feat. The 23rd of August, 2021 was the day she was ranked second in the world singles ranking her top ranking again in January 2023. However, in doubles she rose to the number one spot due to her triumph at Melbourne that same year. She was trained by the former Russian tennis player Dmitry Tursunov from 2018 until the end of the 2019 season, and partly at the beginning of 2020. There was a brief collaboration with Dieter Kindlmann in August until September of 2020. Antonio Dubrov has been her coach since the year 2020. Serena Williams & Maria Sharapova were her models.
